Nicholas Bealer Victorious In 2019 Race 4 The House Junior Street Class

Saturday, first of June brought a comfortable sunny day for our Junior Street racers to contest the 2019 Race 4 the House Championship. While the participant numbers were small the competition was none-the-less serious and after two rounds of competition Nicholas Bealer of Douglasville, PA stood in the winner’s circle with his 1978 Chevrolet El Camino.

In round 1 Bealer was afforded the bye run and tested his spot on the tree posting an ever-so-close -.002 red light. In the other first round pairing Sarah Hankinson in her 2014 Dodge Challenger bested Olivia Mowday, driving her 79 Ford Mustang, at the start and closed out Olivia for the win running dead on with a 4, setting the stage for the final.

In the final Bealer had the better reaction time of the double break out race with Hankinson running .08 under her 9.19 dial to hand the win to Nicholas with the lesser offending .07 under effort.

We want to thank all of the racers and spectators who attended this 2019 running of the Race 4 The House and especially those racers who donated all or part of their winnings back to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald house. Please take the time to share this post so your friends can learn about us and hopefully become followers and supporters of the Race 4 The House just like you! See you all at our next event.
