Every year I look for ways to improve the experience of our race not only for you, the Angels that support it, but really and most importantly to raise more for families in need. This year’s race was a success on all fronts. With beautiful cool weather and a racer count of 272, the highest ever by a longshot including the biggest and best ever Dogfest and our Favorite racer competition that generated enough votes/donations for a year and a half of nights at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald house, what can I say??? It was, you were, just great.

David Batchelor knocked it out of the park with this year’s Dogfest with the addition of Keith Alesin’s Brisket. Thanks, Keith, and everyone else that lent a hand in making it so special.

This year’s Favorite Racer Vote was also the best ever. Generating over $8,200 is a tremendous success that will fund the accommodations of the families in need for over 530 nights. Congratulations to this year’s winner Paul Melhado. May you wear your crown in good health and happiness.
